As a renewable source of energy, wind (a form of solar energy) is one of the cleanest fuels available on the market today. Unlike fossil fuels, wind does not pollute – which is a main contributor to greenhouse gases and acid rain. And one of the greatest benefits we gain from wind is its source of abundance and ability to be harnessed domestically.
Wind holds the potential to supply more than one and a half times the current electricity consumption of the U.S. (U.S. Dept. of Energy).
